The Miro exhibition in Pera Museum Tepebaşı

I am so glad that new museums like Istanbul Modern, Pera, Rahmi Koç have brought an acceleration to the art activities in Istanbul. The Miro exhibition started on 3 May in Pera Museum Tepebaşı. The pictures and sculptures of Miro are like the ones of a 5 year old child, yet if you look at them longer, you see the purity, calmless and the humour. He is a lucky artist, having found the place he deserved when he was alive. What impressed me most is the video of an interview with him. By then, he was already 80 years old; yet he was still so passionate about his work and future plans. This showed me: whatever you do as job, whether you are an artist, a manager, an engineer, a plummer..., loving your work makes great difference.

Current exhibitions in Istanbul Museum of Modern Art

Istanbul Museum od Modern Art gave the art loving Istanbulers a fresh air. Every2-3 months I go there to check out the exhibitions and drink a cup of coffee enjoying the marvellous view. The exhibitions "cities of designs" and russian fotography are interesting. There are also films related to the first one, "Helvetica" and My father the architect".
